an interesting night
Shame so many people have woken up to a tory mp, but I'm glad that birmingham has stayed basically tory free - and congrats to the people of solihull.
My highlight of the night was the same as most people's I guess:
GG: Well, most of them just blend one into the other, Jeremy, they're largely a spineless, a supine bunch
I enjoyed Bob Marshall-Andrews winning his seat after conceding too. And the Wyre Forest independent - interesting because clearly the people there like him as their mp. The rise of the non-tory non-labour vote continues to be interesting...And Kilroy-Silk continues not to be...

It's the big day
I'm going to do one of three things...
Not vote (as a protest)
Vote Lib Dem (as a protest)
Vote Labour (because the tories really are the only party with even a snifter's chance of winning West Bromwich East...)
Haven't decided yet - I told a mori pollster on tuesday I was leaning towards labour - but that I was undecided...I think this makes me a floating voter and I never thought I'd be one of those. It genuinely doens't make the blindest bit of difference who I vote for of course, the Labour candidate is a shoo-in here.
